Screen Printing
Screen Printing is a printmaking technique that creates a sharp-edged image using a stencil. Printers around the world use the term spot color to mean any color generated by a non-standard offset ink; such as metallic, fluorescent, or custom hand-mixed inks. The opposite of process inks. Essentially, spot-color separations are colors that are not used to create other colors.
Process Printing
Artwork is created using dots (CMYK) which combine to create the full spectrum of colors needed for photographic prints – this means a large number of colors can be printed using only 4 screens, making the set-up costs viable. The inks are required to blend and are more translucent, meaning a COMPROMISE with vibrancy of color. Therefore, usually 6 screens are required at least. On dark shirts even more screens may be required and that process is know as Simulated Process Printing.
Waterbased Printing
Waterbase inks are very commonly used amoung the printing techniques of designer fashion lines. A waterbase ink is comprised of water and dye. When heated the water is evaporated and the dye is left on the printed garment. The feel of a waterbased print is extremely soft, there is no feel to the ink itself at all. Waterbased inks can also be used as the underbase of a foil print since the foil will not adhere to the ink. This creates a very trendy look and feel for any designer or business owner.
"Softee" Printing
Reduced ink deposit using an ink extended to "soften" the print.
Contract Printing
Clients provide the garments to be printed on but please contact us first. We reserve the right to increase printing costs due to the amount of garments provided.
Heat Transfers
Using the technology of sublimation, we can heat transfer full composite images onto any substrate and white polyester garments. The substrates consist of coffee mugs, plaques, key chains, coasters, serving trays and much more. Please call for pricing on any sublimation materials. Transfers
to cotton garments is also a possibility. On orders smaller that 24 garments a chromablast print will be done. As well this can only be done on a white 100% cotton garment. Perfect for family gatherings, camp outings and other get togethers.
Vynal Application
In house we also provide the service of vynal cutting using a gx24 plotter. We can do car decals, window graphics, jersey numbers and more.
Banners and Signs
Using our vynal plotter we also can provide you with banners and signs as well. We DO NOT provide you with large format printing. All banners and signs have a vynal application and will have only solid colors placed. Please call for pricing on banners and signs.
